Haiku XXXXVI

A well risen loaf

Despite this cold Winter's night;

Almost a globe!

For Patrick: Three Tanka, a Haiku. and a final line

Your's a self made death:

Broken noose and bloody wrists

Sends me circling:

Anger at your autolysis -

Guilt for daring to judge.

Imaginative,

Perceptive but talkative

Clever in action:

Why are you so silent now

Whilst I juggle rage and guilt?

Guilt follows anger

For I do not understand

Your thought or your act.

You saw that Egret

Flying under a lead grey sky;

White as the snowstorm;

We scattered salt and roses

Upon your wicker coffin

In the misty wood - Harpies?
